RCHS underclass final exams begin Thursday, May 22. All students are required to complete a final exam in each class. If you are absent and miss a final, you must schedule a time during summer school to make-up the final exam. Good luck!

RCHS students and staff donated almost $400 today!! Money was collected during 4th period, and donations will continue through Friday. All money will be donated to Laurel County Schools' YSCs.

📣 RCHS Underclassmen Awards Ceremony 🗓️ Fri, May 23, 2025 🕦 11:30 AM 📍 RCHS Auditorium. Students will be notified tomorrow if they will receive an award at the ceremony. Students will get a ticket for themselves + 1 friend. Parents/guardians welcome — no ticket needed. Visitors can park in the back and have ID ready for quick check -in. Check-in will begin at 11:00am. 🚀

Let's support the students and families of Laurel County! Starting Tuesday (tomorrow) during 4th period, we will be taking up donations for the Laurel County Youth Service Center. The 4th period class with the most $$ in donations will receive the tremendous feeling of accomplishment that comes from giving to others...and a special batch of Ms. Susan's Rock Star cookies. All funds collected will be donated to Laurel County's Family and Youth Resource Centers.

As our students celebrate Prom 2025, a message from the RCHS Prom Committee:

We are so proud of Tristan McKinney for completing his very first FCCLA State Executive Council meeting! In less than 24 hours, he and his incredible team successfully planned the Kentucky State Leadership Camp. Tristan will be serving the Kentucky delegation this year as Vice President of Peer Education. Mrs. Camel and all of the Rock can’t wait to see all the great things he will accomplish. Way to go, Tristan!

Mark your calendars! We're thrilled to announce a special event, "Hats for Hunter," coming your way on Friday, May 9th! This is a fantastic chance for our entire school community to rally together and support Hunter McClure 🧢 Wear a Hat for Hunter: On Friday, May 9th, show your school spirit and support by wearing your favorite hat to school for just $1. Every dollar raised will go directly to the McClure family to help with their expenses. 🚶 Join the Support Walk: During an extended lunch period on Friday, we'll also be holding a walk to further show our support. If you'd like to make an additional small donation, we will be gratefully accepting them at that time. ❤️ Let's Wear RED for Hunter! Hunter's family has shared that his favorite color is red, so let's paint RCHS red on Friday to show our collective support and solidarity!

Friday's Announcements: * Prom tickets are on sale until Friday, May 2. Tickets are $40. Applications to bring a guest from outside RCHS must be approved before a ticket for that guest can be purchased. You can see Mrs. Taylor in Room 114 if you need an application. *Softball players are headed to Owensboro for their Elite 8 game in the 2A State Championship against Johnson Central! *AP Exam fees are due by Wednesday, April 30. Pay your teacher or Mrs. Susan Norton-Casey. * May events such as Senior and Underclassmen Awards and finals have been set. Look for those dates to appear on the online calendar soon!
