There will be an informational meeting tomorrow evening for any 5th grade girl interested in playing middle school soccer! The meeting starts at 3:15--but they will welcome you at any time you can get there.

The Eagles' Nest PTG Mother/Son Dance (Costume Party) is BACK @ RES!! All Rockcastle County Elementary boys and moms are invited to attend! Tickets go on sale beginning next Wednesday and sales end on October 4th! Look for flyers in your child's backpacks next week.
In keeping with the safety measures being taken across the district at this time, RES will be POSTPONING our Grandparents' Ice Cream Social until a later date. The safety and peace of mind of our families is our top priority and we believe we can more fully enjoy this event at a later date.
Due to unforeseen issues this morning, we were unable to move forward with School Picture Day. We have rescheduled it for SEPTEMBER 30th.

Roundstone Bus 1802 (Ms. Julia) has had mechanical issues. The students are here at RES and are transferring to another bus. They will arrive home at least 15-20 minutes later today.

The Grandparents' Day Ice Cream Social scheduled for tomorrow night at RES has been POSTPONED until next Monday, 9/16. We apologize for any inconvenience. We did not want to wait until tomorrow to make this decision so that families have time to make necessary plans.

RES Students are invited to bring their grandparents or a special "grandperson" in their lives to our 2nd Annual Grandparents' Ice Cream Social on Monday, September. Stop by between 5:30-6:30 pm to get a free ice cream from our RES PTG and receive a free book and resources from our awesome Save the Children staff! Students can show their grandparents their classrooms and tour the school!
